My name is Nemiya Rookwood 22 years of age, resident in the UK.
I graduated June 2012 from Derby University with a BA Honours degree in Computer Games Modelling & Animation.  My definite skills are in high poly to low poly modelling, normal map baking and texturing. Learning, developing and understanding new skills/processes as a part of my continuing progression.



Materials in this portfolio consist of examples of my coursework, continuing  to produce my personal projects as a working progress. As well as my current position as a newly appointed character artist with Riftwalker Ltd  working on Siege of Inaolia. Even though I am new to the industry I believe my passion and understanding of games today has helped shape my career path.



Playing games and being addicted from an early age has developed my interest in the gaming world and I believe my knowledge and understanding will enable me to hone my skills and produce models at a AAA standard for next gen games.



I am currently seeking a position as a paid Character Artist where I believe my vision will enable me to excel in industry given the opportunity.
